The Designer Pepper Mills and Designer Eagle pepper mills are special and unique. If you are looking for an Artistic Pepper Mill or a stunning Pepper mill, you will enjoy visiting the gallery of pepper mills for sale in my store. My pepper mills are beautiful, durable and intended to be used.

My peppermills are heirloom quality that will be passed down to future generations. All of the colors that you see in the pictures are natural wood colors. The peppermills are created by cutting and gluing different kinds of wood together to create a pepper mill that is stunning and elegant. Each one is a work of art. They are beautiful to look at and a pleasure to use!

The wood is very colorful but it's all natural. No dyes or stains have been used.The finish is many coats of high gloss Lacquer. Each coat is hand rubbed to provide a stunning finish like an elegant musical instrument.


The grind mechanism is made by Chef Specialties. It's stainless steel to last a lifetime and it's fully adjustable from very course to very fine.
Each peppermill has a serial number and my personal makers mark.

The Natural Wood Series are made from one variety of wood. All pepper mills are finished natural (no stains or dyes). They are made from domestic woods such as Oak, Maple or Cherry. I also make them of exotic woods. All of the peppermills have a grinder mechanism made of stainless steel and fully adjustable. The finish is high gloss unless indicated to be a satin or matte finish. The high gloss finish is many coats of lacquer hand rubbed between each coat to provide a beautiful and elegant finish.

An Accent peppermill will brighten your kitchen or dining table. They come in many colors and the colors are quite bright. They are made from domestic hardwood and fitted the same stainless steel grinders as my most expensive pepper mills. The finish is high gloss and hand rubbed between each coat.

The Peppermills on this site were personally handcrafted by Herb Richardson. They were inspired when he saw the peppermills on Sara Moultons show that were made by Pinky Martin. They are elegant, exotic, unique and all are wooden. They are made of domestic and exotic woods. The Designer Pepper Mills are made of various woods permanently bonded together and turned in such a way to as to create a beautiful "work of art" Pepper Mill. They look like "Works of Art" but they are functional, durable and intended to be used daily. The least expensive are the painted "Accent" Pepper Mills but they are also very durable. We have a burgundy Accent Mill in the kitchen and two Designer Mills on our table and they are used constantly.
